Bockstoce (1955) This dark red double peony has a sturdy crop that is sensitive to crooked growth. That is why the plants need to be supported. This is of course no problem in greenhouses, tunnels and in very sheltered places. The flowers have a beautiful shape, but should be cut at the right stage of maturity to open fully. Henry Bockstoce is a great peony in the vase. This peony is also extremely suitable for shows, stabbing work and last but not least for gardens and parks.
