Glasscock (1950) Mother's Choice is a great peony with large petals and double cup-shaped flowers. Wonderfully fragrant, in a beautiful white shade. Has a very nice stage with green in the very large white-green buds. Mother's Choice flourishes in the mid-market just before the Sarah. Should not be cut too young, as it will not open. This is a peony that is not suitable for every flower cutter, because it is difficult to see when the bud is ripe. Is botrytis sensitive and more suitable for countries with light. APS gold medal winner 1994.
